FCCPC reviews reports of sudden Starlink charge increase in Nigeria
A customer's monthly charge reportedly rose from NGN 49,000 to NGN 215,955 without notice, a case raised publicly by former senator Ben Murray-Bruce. The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission said it was reviewing such reports and asked affected consumers to file complaints.

Starlink reinstates higher Nigerian tariffs after regulatory reset
Starlink emailed Nigerian subscribers about revised pricing, including a rise in the residential plan from NGN 38,000 to NGN 75,000 a month and Roam Unlimited rising to NGN 167,000, citing inflation. Later reporting put the residential price at about NGN 57,000 (April 2025), so the full rise appears not to have taken effect as announced.
