Musk calls Romania's barring of Călin Georgescu from presidential rerun 'crazy'

After Romania's Central Electoral Bureau rejected Georgescu's candidacy for the May 2025 rerun, Musk posted This is crazy! and This is madness; the next day he asked how a judge could put an end to democracy in Romania.

Response: Bucharest's Gendarmerie said officers used tear gas after protesters tried to force their way into the bureau and called the gathering unauthorised (Radio Moldova).
